The Trial of Charles I

08-02-19 - 11-04-19,
8:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Admission: £7

Location: Cromwell Museum

Join us for dramatized performances recreating the tumultuous events of the trial of King Charles I in January 1649, to be held in the atmospheric surroundings of one of the historic courtrooms in Huntingdon Town Hall.

Working with members of the Sealed Knot historical re-enactment society, and using original trial records from the Parliamentary Archives, the Museum has produced an edited and dramatized version of the trial, which will be recreated with all the key figures including King Charles I and Oliver Cromwell. Performances last about 70 minutes.

Tickets can be booked via the Cromwell Museum or online through the button below.
